Theory & Hazard perception Test

The theory test is computerised, consisting of 35 multiple choice questions and the pass mark is 30. At the end of the test you then begin the hazard perception test, which consists of 14 video clips with various developing hazards. You click each hazard to score points; the pass mark is 44 out of 75 marks. You need to pass both sections to achieve a theory certificate pass. On the day of your test you must arrive 15 minutes earlier at the test centre. You must have your driving license, photo id and counterpart and old licenses must have a separate id i.e. passport.

Practical driving tests can not be booked without passing the theory test, so make sure you study as it can be a waste of time and money.

Practical Driving Test

The test lasts about 40 minutes and you must demonstrate a safe level of driving throughout displaying your Highway Code knowledge. You will be required to read a number plate at 67 feet at the start of the test and answer two show me-tell me questions about the vehicle, such as how to check your oil level.

On the day of your test I will pick you up 90 minutes before the test and conduct a lesson. You will need to produce your letter of appointment, driving license, photo id and counterpart and theory certificate.
